you say "And also we are not going to be able to allow CME Group historical data to be accessed through the DTC protocol server:

I'm currently using my own DTC Client to get historical and real-time data for stocks, and I'm about ready to use it for CME symbols like MES and MNQ.
1. Is this really going to be prohibited? Both my DTC client and Sierra Chart are running on the same machine, so I'm surprised CME could object.
2. Does it really apply only to historical data and not real-time data?
3. If I cannot connect through DTC, what will be my alternative? Trading via DTC through Sierra Chart and using someone like IQ Feed for data?
4. Will this also be disallowed with your new CME Direct routing?
Thank you,
Dale

1. Absolutely yes. We must follow any requests from exchanges.

2. It probably will apply to real-time data too at some point.

3. Have a look at ACSIL and see if you can accomplish what you need using that:
Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL)

4. Yes.
