Hi. Im coming back into AMP / CQG / Sierra Charts to trade again for the first time since 2020. And alot has changed, i see, and i dont even know where to start.

I just want to trade crude oil futures and micro eminis. I am connected to sierra charts, but I cannot trade or when i find the symbols i want they dont load up. i do have a balance in amp that i will be using for trading but i dont know where to start. i tried reading the instructions on here and tried some of the directions for hours but gave up. i haven't gotten anywhere and I need help. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The first thing is to make sure your account at AMP is setup properly. There definitely have been some changes, and we do not know how you were setup previously, but you need to make sure that you are setup to use CQG for your order routing with AMP.

Once you have that confirmed and/or setup, then follow these instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to CQG:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

Next, you will need to get setup with the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Follow these instructions to get this setup:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Once you have the data setup done, then go through these steps to ensure that everything is setup properly to get the data:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services

And finally, the last thing to do is to open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. This will change any symbols that are not already setup for CQG to the CQG symbols.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing
