Hello! I have been enjoying my free trial very much. I have really enjoyed the replay features and footprint, dom functionality. However, after reading through some of the support threads I am still left confused on integration with Tradovate and with that broker what Service package to get so I can continue with the functionality I have grown to enjoy so much. Any help would be very much appreciated getting me set up on your spectacular service.

If you are setup with CQG for your order routing with Tradovate, then you can connect your Sierra Chart to that CQG account. Follow these setup instructions to do so: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions If you are setup with a different order routing service, then in order to continue to use Sierra Chart, you would need to ask Tradovate to move you to CQG. Or you could find a different broker that supports one of the services that we work with. You will find the list of services here: Supported Data and Trading Services: Supported Services For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I think I am confused because of this part on CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions where it says "Notice: Users can experience disconnection issues when using CQG. This can cause a risk with trading. We recommend that new users or users trading the CME Group of markets only, use the Sierra Chart Order Routing service with Data instead of CQG if you just require CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX trading only. Sierra Chart as of November 1, 2019, will only provide support to CQG users within our discretion. We are not able to help with data lagging issues, disconnection issues, or other types of data issues encountered." Does this Sierra Chart Order Routing service work with tradovate I guess is what my question is and what service package is that. |

Keep in mind that if you use Sierra Chart for execution you have to pay extra 0,30$ Round Turn to Tradovate for order routing If you use Sierra Chart only for analysis and Tradovate for execution, you have to pay $15 monthly to Tradovate for a second set of credentials In this case you can populate charts in real time with CQG data The problem is that Sierra Chart does not offer historical data to integrate CQG service, so you will have only a few days back of data for charts In this case you should buy Denali data feed In any case Tradovate does not allow to trade from both platforms at the same time As regard CQG disconnections, well if this was a real issue you should have dozen of posts in this forum every day regarding this problem Did you see this? Sierra Chart is going to offer their new Order Routing Service, so they have no interest to promote CQG anymore Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-05-21 07:49:08

Ah that makes sense! If I understand this correctly, I can use Denali feed on my main analysis instance of sierra charts and create a new instance of Sierra for my DOM connected to CQG (via $15 tradovate membership fee) and trade my tradovate account through that? Or do I have to use the shitty Tradovate platform to actually send my trades to them? I just don't want to buy Sierra Charts for 3 months or buy the wrong thing at tradovate and be out a couple hundred bucks. My bad to Support if you guys are getting annoyed haha.

You are a bit confused. You have the following options: 1) Using Sierra Chart for both trading and analysis with CQG data and order routing, but data provided are very limited (few days) In this case you will pay an extra 0,30$ Round Turn (to Tradovate) for each trade + 15$ for month (to Tradovate) for a new set of credentials 2) Using Sierra Chart for both trading and analysis with Denali data and CQG order routing with a large amount of data to populate charts In this case you will pay an extra 0,30$ Round Turn (to Tradovate) for each trade + the cost of Denali + 15$ for month (to Tradovate) for a new set of credentials 3) Using Sierra Chart for analysis only, with Denali data. No order routing cost, since you will not use SC for trading In this case you will pay the cost of Denali + 15$ for month(to Tradovate) for a new set of credentials. You will NOT pay an extra 0,30$ Round Turn BUT yes, you will trade ONLY through TRADOVATE plaftorm Tradovate does not allow you to use simultaneously Tradovate and Sierra Chart to place orders Hope it helps |

To answer the question you asked earlier: Does this Sierra Chart Order Routing service work with tradovate I guess is what my question is and what service package is that.
The Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is not available through Tradovate. The rest of the information you have been getting is from another User. We are not familiar with Tradovate's costs for those kind of items and do not have anything we can add to what has been stated. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
