Chart Values not updating in Chart Values Window when I move Cross-Hairs

I have a Chart Values Window open. I have clicked on the "Chart Va;" button to get the cross-hairs. When I move the cross-hairs over the chart, the values in the Chart Values Window d not update, they remain unchanged. Every bar where the cross-hair is should show different values in the Chart Values Window. What could be the cause?
