A little bit of help about switching from CQG to Denali

Good morning Sierra team, I have read all of the CQG related issues in the support board and would like to make the switch to Denali. I'm a little bit stupid for these kinds of things and would really appreciate if someone could guide me. I'm basically looking to have a similar package with Denali of what I have now, which is package 5. I also have an AMP account and I'm not sure how the routing or clearing works with Denali or if that's a different service? So if I could make the switch to Denali from CQG and have a similar package and will have no issues with AMP as my broker I would be set. The first thing we want to point out is that Denali is a data feed and that is all. There is a separate service called the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service that we have available to do order routing, but that is separate from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. Also, note that the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service does NOT work with AMP. They stopped support for it several months ago. Therefore, if you are staying with AMP, then you will want to use CQG for your order routing, and then you can use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for your data. To do this, do the following: 1. Follow the Setup Instructions for CQG here: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions 2. Follow these instructions to setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* 3. Open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service in order to update any symbols that may not have already been set to CQG symbols to use the CQG symbols. 4. Let AMP know that you do not want the data from CQG any longer. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
