I create a some graph in a chartbook .

If i want to change the background of the graph include with this chartbook , i use ( global setting / graphic setting - global / chart background) to change the color of the graph

Everything work well , with the chartbook i created.

but somebody give me a new chartbook he did himself .

i use it , but impossible to change the background color of the graphs of this new chartbook .

I try this way ( global setting / graphic setting - global / chart background) , but it didnt work .

Why ?

Because the person that gave you the Chartbook changed the background for that specific chart by changing it under Chart >> Graphics Setting - Chart.

If you just want to change the settings to your global settings, then go to Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart and enable the option at the top for Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of these Settings. Refer to the following:
Graphics Settings: Use Global Graphics Settings Instead of These Settings
