I ran a backtest using 2 contracts, instead of one and got an error on YM. Is there a setting that I missed?

It ays "multiple positions on same direction is not enabled".

Then you have exceeded the settings for your study, in particular it sounds like there is a limit on the number of positions that can be open. You would need to look at your study and see what the settings are.
