When runnning the tick and internals (NISS NYSE and S&P), they will just stop printing on the chart. I have to go to chart settings and hit apply several times to get them to print again. Screenshot attached. I drew a vertical line down where the tick and NISS-NYSE stopped and you can see that in this case, the NISS-SP continued printing.

I see now that the tick and internal charts won't stop loading data. It just keeps loading over and over and won't stop. I was able to create new charts for the tick and NISS-S&P and they seem ok now but I'm not able to get the NISS-NYSE to stop loading regardless of how many times I create a new chart for it. This seems to be causing the update issue. I downloaded the pre-release version but it's not helping.

Go to the source charts for those market statistics and refer to help topic 3: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails3.html There could also be out of order timestamps causing a problem in the destination chart. So you may want to re-download the data in the ES chart by selecting Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I have reviewed all these steps and attempted the fixes but without success. Basically, the tick and other internal charts just keep reloading the data continuously 24/7. If I open a new blank chartbook and create a new tick chart, it works fine. If I then copy it my "trouble" chartbook, it goes back to loading continuously. It also defaults to 700 days of data and I'm unable to change that. I only need 30 or so days. Is there some setting I may have on another chart that could be causing this? |

For the reloading problem, refer to help topic 30.3 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails30.html#h30.3 The maximum number of Historical Intraday Days to Download is set through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. Set that to 30. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Thanks. The reloading problem was caused by having the internals on more than one chart (with different time intervals) using the overlay study. Do you have any suggestions on how to display the internals and tick on multiple charts that have different time intervals without running into this issue?

Yes. Use the Study/Price Overlay study to overlay the market statistics charts on other charts. This will avoid the reloading problem.
