Dear ladies and gentlemen, I went through your sticky posts and also the documentation on the changes to the SierraChart historical data feed and on the Denali feed. After going through it, there are some minor questions left I'd like to address and verify on before taking action. First of all, all questions are in relation to the Mini-DAX future (Symbol FDXM?##-EUREX traded at the EUREX), as it is the only product I'm interested in. I was able to download historical data by switching from CQG Web-API to SC DATA - All Services [data] in the Data/Trade Services Settings Window. Questions: 1) Currently I am with a broker where I have CQG-access for trading. I understood that you're not happy with CQG anyhow but in my understanding I do neither need an account with a broker nor CQG-access as long as I am in backtesting-mode - the only thing needed for this is my SierraChart-subscription for the software and the included data-feed for historical data... is this true? 2) As soon as I'm going to live-trading, I'll need the Denali data-feed in addition as it is the one providing real-time data for products traded at the EUREX. Is this true? 3) As I'm not happy with my broker anyhow, I can cancel my account now and reopen an account with another broker when I start live-trading supporting your Trading Technologies (TT) Trading Platform Service already - in my situation probably an Introducing Broker of Phillip Capital. Together with my SierraChart-subscription, the historical data in the package and the Denali data-feed I should be ready for live-trading. Is this true? Thanks a lot for answering the questions! Regards, Markus |

1. Yes this is fully correct. Refer to: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service 2. Yes. And then you no longer need the data feed from CQG. 3. If you are trading EUREX perfectly fine to use CQG. If you wanted to use the Sierra Chart order routing service, you would have to find out if Philip Capital supports EUREX over TT. Together with my SierraChart-subscription, the historical data in the package and the Denali data-feed I should be ready for live-trading. Is this true?
Yes this is correct
