I love the chart trading lines that show my entry and target. A couple of days back I could simply drag the target to any new price, and it would work fine, but now when I drag the target exit to a different price than the original target, it bounces back to the original exit price. What do I need to do?

If after modifying the price of an order, you notice that the order line jumps back to the original price, then this indicates that the order modification was rejected. The reason it is rejected will be given in Trade >> Trade Service Log at the end of the log.

This is what the log says, "Resetting last modify Price and Quantity due to an apparent failed order modification. Internal order ID: 16438 | 2014-03-07 12:32:45" Why is there a failed order modification?

We see you are using OEC. Update Sierra Chart by selecting Help >> Download Current Version.

Let us know if that solves the issue.

Okay I did that. Same problem. Moving my target exit by dragging it on Sierra Charts results in it bouncing back to where it was. I tried moving the stop exit, and that works. It's just the profit target that won't stay. I can delete it, but I can't move it by dragging it.

It says Sierra Chart 1102. Also this just happened. The demo trade did not exit at the target on the chart, even after going through the target by several ticks. It was working on prior days, so I don't know why it isn't know.

Okay, just made another demo trade and the target exit worked fine this time. Don't know what happened before. But the main problem still exist--I can't move my target exit.

We need to see the Order Activity lines for this particular order in question. Refer to the instructions here to provide them:
