Need to use broker provided account going forward?

In the post " Notice: Transition to Direct Sierra Chart Billing For SC Accounts through Broker" note #6 "You will continue to use the same Sierra Chart account that you are currently using which has been provided from your broker. All of your Chartbooks and configuration within Sierra Chart remains the same with this transition.", it seems to suggest you need to keep using the broker provided account when you switch to paying Sierra Chart directly for it's services. I have had a regular, existing Sierra Chart account for while, and will be using CQG for trading and data for now. Can I use my other account, or is there some reason I would need to use the broker provided account? |

The reasons you may want to continue to use the account that was provided by your broker may be any the following: - The account is already setup and has Usage Time and possibly already paid for data - The account has 3rd party files that are set to automatically download - The account already has funds in it to pay for services If these do not apply, and you are certain of this, then it is not a problem to change to another account that you have.
