Hi, Is it possible, on an intraday chart, to display, as horizontal lines, the Volume Profile Levels (VAH/VAL/VPOC/High/Low) of the previous day (day session only or 24h) -and previous day only- please? I know I can use the "Volume Value Area Lines" study on an intraday chart however it displays the VAH/VPOC/VAL (only) for **all** previous days which can clog up the chart. I just need the VAH/VAL/VPOC/High/Low levels for the previous day only to be drawn automatically. Thank you |

You could use the Spreadsheet Study to control the display of the Value Area Lines Study by checking against the date and time and seeing if they are part of the current trading day. Thanks John for your response and suggestion; I am not sure I understand what you mean and I was just wondering if I was missing something obvious, ie. if there was a setting in the Value Area Lines or the Draw Volume Profile studies, for which it was possible to display the levels for the last session (day) only. I am plotting the levels for these studies for the previous day manually and it starts to get tedious when you do it over many charts every day. If it is not possible in a simple way that is ok, perhaps SC could consider adding this feature (ie. having the ability to display the output of a study just for the last session be it minutes/day/week/etc) to the platform? Hi Ackin, Thank you for your response; the picture you posted is a picture of Volume Profiles and its levels (VAH/VAL/VPOC); what i am looking for is the ability to draw the levels for VAH/VAL/VPOC on intraday charts for the last session only; I use many different instruments, and switch between them and the less my charts are cluttered by too many lines and the better for me. So essentially i am looking to remove all lines from the charts excepts the level mentioned above for the last session only if that makes sense? The more i look in the study the less i am thinking the feature exists nor does it seem possible to even group studies to achieve that; but would love to be proven wrong! I will definitely look into you studies Thanks |

A bit of a misunderstanding, you can choose a profile from which you will draw information .... now I did what you need in 10 minutes, I'll put it in an update in a moment .... look at this in the attachment and imagine that you have a profile for each session separately and hidden

Hi Ackin, yes, you're right this is spot on; it looks like you have the ability to plot the VAH/VAAL/VPOC form last session only! how did you do it? ;-) Thanks |
