Hi,
I have just noticed this in my email:

-----
This notice is intended for all Stage 5 clients who have an active trading account using the SierraChart Order Routing Service. Beginning March 1st, any users trading any of the CME Group exchange (CME/CBOT/COMEX/NYMEX) through this trading service will incur a $50 monthly charge for CME Market Access. This is a TT charge that covers the cost of the TT connection to CME.

As an alternative to this new charge, any client is welcome to switch their order routing service to CQG while still executing through the SierraChart front end platform and still subscribing to Denali market data. This will add only a $10 monthly charge as opposed to $50. If you’d like to switch platforms, please email client-services@s5trading.com and copy your Stage 5 broker to let us know and we can get you switched over.
------

My broker confirms the above to be true but the charges have been waived until the end of April. Does Sierrachart offers any other options than switching to CQG?

The only other option would be to change brokers. You will find a list of other brokers that support the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service at Step #2 here:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

This broker is stage 5 which is one the brokers in your link. It seems this fee is not from the broker but TT "This is a TT charge that covers the cost of the TT connection to CME.".

Yes, it is coming from TT to the broker and the broker is passing it along to you. But this does not have anything to do with Sierra Chart apart from the fact that we use TT for our Order Routing Service.

Again, the only option would be to see if there is a broker that supports the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service that is not charging that fee, or find a broker that supports one of our other supported trading services. You will find the list of supported trading services here:

It is the same with Advantage Futures as well.

So it seems CQG is my current option. What effect would it have on what I am being charged by SC at the moment?
Will your direct order routing become available before the end of the month? perhaps instead of switching to CQG I wait until yours become available.

Going with CQG will not change the major fees that you are paying to us (Software Usage Time and Data). There is a $0.10 per side order routing fee that you would be charged when using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, but you will see essentially the same set of fees regardless of what broker you use.

If you are with Stage 5 they can also move your account to Dorman and still stay on the TT based order routing service. There is no monthly fee in this case.

Thanks, Dorman seems to be a better choice for now. However, will your direct order routing become be available before the end of the month? That might be a better choice in a long run as I do not like to keep changing accounts.

We have answered this here:
Now Released: Upcoming CME Direct Routing | Post: 261220

It is very difficult for us to give a date. We expect this service will be live for our own internal use before the end of the month, but not for our users.
