The "Count down timer study" is not showing up on my screen? Please tell me what setting I need to have it show up?

This should not happen. Make sure you remove all versions of the study from the chart and then add a new copy of the study. When you add the new study, set the Initial Horizontal Position and Initial Vertical Position to values of 50 each. This will place the Countdown Timer near the center of the chart. You may also need to remove instances of the Countdown Timer text through the Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window.
