How to write unit tests for a custom study

I'd like to write unit tests for libraries I've written to support my custom study. Right now the libraries have dependencies on SCDateTime and my unit test can't build w/o resolving the dependency. Are there libraries I can link with that contain SCDateTime that would allow me to build a standalone unit test? Or perhaps there is a better approach to unit testing?
