Hi, I created a custom indicator that use the rectangle tools to highlight bar of interest on a chart with the NumberChart study. Now I am trying to overlay my rectangles on another chart but it is not working since the price/overlay study doesnt recognize my rectangles created with the tools of ASCIL. How can I create tools that in one chart that can be overlayed on another chart? Thank you! |

Refer to the following: Using Drawing Tools From an Advanced Custom Study: Adding Chart Drawings to Other Charts from an ACSIL Study Function For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

If I follow the instruction I can draw on another chart inside the ASCIL using the s_useTool::ChartDrawings. But it not what I was looking for. I want that my script draw on the chart where I attach the study but also can I can use the samme indidcator from another chart using the Study/Price/overlay. Thank you |

You would need to set the drawing as a User Drawn drawing and the copy the drawing to another chartbook. You can not use the Study/Price Overlay, as these are drawings. Refer to the following: Using Drawing Tools From an Advanced Custom Study: s_UseTool::AddAsUserDrawnDrawing And also to the following: Chart Settings: Copy Chart Drawings from Chart #'s (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
