When I try to place a live trade on sierra chart I am redirected to a sim account to place the trade. I recently switched to denali data and use AMP to facilitate my trades. I have verified with AMP that I'm set up to route trades through CQG. Not sure what is going on...

You have not setup your Sierra Chart to connect to CQG. You need to follow these Setup Instructions:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

After you do the above, then you will need to open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service to change your symbols to CQG symbols.
