Add the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study, and use a formula like this on its Alerts tab: =ID4.SG1>MAX(ID4.SG1[-1:-21]) where the ATR study is ID4. This formula is a modification of these examples: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing A Range of Data Then follow these instructions to color the ATR bars: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition: Coloring Subgraphs of Other Studies |

Hi Tom, thx for the detailed answer! i did follow your instructions, but still, the chart looks a bit off from how i would like to appear. for example, i would want that the bars that match alert criteria get only different colour and other bars to stay the same. i played around with the settings for a while, but was not able to fix this issue. Do you have some idea how this could be fixed? I attach image of how it looks now. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1630415474900.png |

I can't tell from the pic what needs to be fixed. The color bar study should be below the ATR study in the studies to graph list. |
