So I have my broker set up with AMP and using Sierra Chart to trade. AMP website had Sierra Chart advertise as a free platform to use, but I'm now getting messages from Sierra Chart saying I have 5 days of trial left. I'm paying a data fee with AMP using CQG data. Do I need to pay for a Sierra service package and data in order to use the platform to trade? If so, do I even need to pay for CQG data if I'm not even using their data since Ill be using data from Sierra Chart? Paying for data twice?

First read the first post in this thread: Notice: Transition to Direct Sierra Chart Billing For SC Accounts through Broker Do I need to pay for a Sierra service package and data in order to use the platform to trade?
Yes you do need to pay for Sierra Chart directly. If so, do I even need to pay for CQG data if I'm not even using their data since Ill be using data from Sierra Chart?
No you do not need to pay for CQG data. Tell your broker that you want CQG order routing only. You will want to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data: Denali Exchange Data Feed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I have made the $36 payment for 10 - Standard + Denali Data Feed. I was looking at "Activate / Deactivate Denali Exchange Data Feed Exchanges." Do I need to pay additional fees for data? Doesnt the $36 fee covers the data? I mainly only trade /NQ NASDAQ futures contract.

So just to be clear, the $36 fee is just for the platform and I have to pay additional for the data?

No that is not correct. The 36 USD per month is for Sierra Chart, and the data feed. But the exchange requires that you pay a fee for their real-time data.

So the data feed from Sierra chart is not real time data. It delayed data?

Data from exchanges, do require an exchange fee and until you pay that fee, the data will be delayed. Sierra Chart does provide real-time data feeds, but you need to pay the exchange fee.
