Hi,
Is there a way to scan the universe of stocks for a particular condition, for example, close above 20ema, and 20ma > 50ma ?

I understand there is a way to scan a specific watchlist https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SwitchingSymbols.html#AssociatedSymbolList. But I am looking for any stock that might meet criteria in order to include it on the watchlist, is there way to find those stocks?

You have to have a chart open to be able to apply a study like a moving average to a symbols data in SC. Then you could use the Study Summary Window to see which ones suit your conditions BUT only if you have a chart open. So that's not that practical if you want to scan 100s of stocks,

Yea, thanks. I'm looking for a way to scan for stocks that are not on my chart or watchlist. This is something that can be done in other platforms like thinkorswim, trendspider, etc. I was wondering if there was that functionality in SC also.

I have already read that documentation. You can only scan through a specific watchlist, which has to be built manually. You can't scan the entire NYSE for example.

Is there a way to import lists of all stocks?

The Watchlist has options for loading all the symbols from several exchanges. Open the Watchlist page and select the "Symbol" option at the top to see the list of available exchanges. Select an exchange to have the symbols added to the list.

You can also import lists of symbols by using the "Import" button. Refer to the following:
