High memory usage

Noticed that there is an issue with very high memory issues in SC. This has recently increased from 3GB from 11-13.5GB at all times. I have run through your help page, decreased the update rate, amount of data held, and this has no effect. I have also set pages to Destroy charts when hidden. I had no issues a few weeks ago but I am thinking post updates the problem has surfaced. I have a high powered workstation HP z440 6 core PC with 32GB Ram. Cpu usage is minimal Any ideas and help would be great. Like I have said i have already worked through some of the help pages. SC is becoming unusable. |

Have you tried previous versions to confirm your thinking it is related to updates? If you can narrow it down to a specific version change Sierra may be able to determine the cause.

I downgraded and the problem persisted, then i upgraded to V10 and i am down to 3.5GB USAGE. Thanks |

hello, I am having the same issue, it seemed to me the upgrade rectified the hi memory usage but the problem has returned. Memory usage is +8GB. Is there anything else I can do? The PC is drowning and SC is irresponsive. |

Is the high memory usage systemwide, or is it specific to the Sierra Chart process? sc only. I ve tried using the general settings option to kill when hidden and this has no effect. |
