I have activated Package 10 independent billing, and Denali feed, and CME exchange. 1. How do I properly set the account to be set to Interactive Brokers trading account here under the account control panel, other than in the Sierrachart program? 2. How do I verify everything in functioning correctly for live trading with IB? 3. Do all Sierrachart trading features/actions work correctly with IB? |

1. There is nothing you need to do to connect to IB through the Sierra Chart website. Everything is done through your local Sierra Chart software. Follow the instructions here: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions 2. If you followed the Setup Instructions, then you should be good. 3. 1. My IB account is not showing up in my SC site account under approved trading accounts. Will this cause any issues? 2. If the Denali datafeed drops, would SC automatically fall back to using the IB market data for realtime price updates? 3. My internet dropped while in a trade yesterday, and the server side stop on IB filled and the brackets auto cancelled correctly. However on reconnection, SC did not download the fill. Also an old CQG account is showing up in my SC IB Account Balance window, how can I remove it?

1. No this is definitely not a problem. 2. No. You have to manually do this. Besides the Denali data feed is not going to fail. 3. This is not within the scope of our support. We do not provide technical help for Interactive Brokers and we have made that abundantly clear in the documentation: SC did not download the fill. 1. Just in case Denali ever dropped, how could one manually switch data to IB for realtime? Also when IB is not connected, with Denali, why doesn't the Quoteboard populate, does that data come from IB? 2. To clarify, both the IB (updating) and old CQG (not updated) account balances are showing in my Account Balance window. Is there an account/config file I can clear to fix this? |
