[Programming Help] - Study for variable Rates of Change

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I've looked through several Studies and am not able to find what I'm looking for. I’m looking for a Study like “Rate of Change – Points: ΔXt(n)=Xt−Xt−n” to calculate: ΔXt(n)=Xt−1 −Xt−2 or optimally: ΔXt(n)=Xy −Xz, y and z are both variables so I can calculate Rates of Change with starting points other than the current period. Thank you very much for you time and I appreciate your help.
