symbology lookup table for old/new?

Hi, Is there a lookup table in existence that will give a mapping of the old and new symbols as per the thread below? Important Update: "SC Data-All Services" Symbol Cleanup | Post: 239782 I have some code that uses the barstudydata files to do some analysis but the names of the files will now have changed, so I need to update my own lookup table so I know which file to get. eg A6*BarStudyData.csv is now 6A*BarStudyData.csv. Thanks. |

No there is not. You can see the current symbols in File >> Find Symbol.

When I do "edit >> translate symbols to current service" it works fine for all my currencies apart from the russian ruble. Even though I can find 6RM21-CME it gives me an error message (see attached). It works fine if I put R6M21 |

Another issue I've found. When I do the edit>>translate symbols to current... what was QA - Brent last day contract gets turned to QA..-ICEUS British Pound/Australian Dollar. which is clearly not correct. |

In regards to post #4 give us the previous symbol and the symbol after the translation. We see no such case like this at all and do not even see how that is possible. QA worked fine on my 2nd machine when I did the translate, so unless you have done something it might have been my issue, but as I saved the chart changes without saving the prior version I'll never know. There is still an issue with the rouble though, refusing to goto R6 from 6R. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-03-08 23:44:02

We did not change anything. We do not even see how this is technically possible. And we also do not know what symbol specifically you are referring to either. Is the Swiss Franc supported with automatic translation? When I did the translation, of s6 to 6s, I only get the most recent contract of 6s (h21) as a .scid file. Unlike all the other currencies, it did not seem to rename the historical s6 scid files to 6s. |
