Is this still a viable option to run current versions of SC on Mac? https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SoftwareDownload.php#UsingSierraChartOnMacOS Anyone using it and if so, results? |

Hi all, First post so forgive me if I’m in the wrong place. I just wondered why the Mac recommendation has changed from Parallels to Crossover? I purchased parallels last month and didn’t really like how I was switching between operating systems then was having issues opening chartbooks and auto updates, so I gave Crossover a go yesterday and loved it. Just wondered what the logic was for changing? Thanks. |

Some others ,ore knowledgable will hopefully chime in but as far as I know with Parallels you have to buy Windows and install the whole operating system where with Crossover you just install just part of Windows OS so you don't have to buy the Windows license and save hard disk space and RAM usage.
