Custom study not displaying

I have a DLL custom study file that is not showing when I go to add custom studies. I've read that I need to recompile it but it seems Build custom studies requires a CPP file and I don't have one, I only have the DLL. What can be done?

You would need to have the CPP file to rebuild. Without it, there is nothing that can be done. Can you get the CPP file from whomever provided you with the original DLL?

Unfortunately I was not given a CPP file with my purchase of the indicator, just a DLL. Guess that's money down the drain.

Can you contact that same developer and ask them to give you an updated version? Or see if they still have the source code and are willing to give it to you?
