Daily Change doesn't match other sources

My daily change for today shows -1.75 while everything else I look at shows -20.50 for the MES futures. The bars close from yesterday to today is accurate but the daily change in the header of the chart doesn't match. I assume it has to do with session time which I have set at 17:00:00 for start time and 16:00:00 for end time and not using the evening session. How can I get it to match the CME and other quotes while still starting a new daily bar at 17:00:00? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-02-27 01:59:52

I have to admit that the documentation didn't help me to understand. But what I took from it is that I can't get an actual daily price change to display in the header? The Current Quote Window shows the same -1.75. The daily intraday chart shows change from previous bar which looks correct from the last price values on the chart as -14, 3821.50 and 3807.50, but that doesn't align with the CME either.

From documentation: When an updated Settlement Price is provided at the end of the trading day, then it is normal and correct for the Daily Price Change to then be closer to 0 at that time and shortly thereafter. Therefore, you are not going to see the Daily Price Change representing what the price change was during the trading day, at the close of the trading day and during the evening.

Yes, I read that. Is that saying it will show the day to day price change during the day until the end of the day? I am not at my charts during the day so I don't know what it displays during the trading day. Is there not a quote window or anything that shows the actual price change from day to day or do we have to look at each bar and subtract? Thanks |
