I use OEC and have subscribed to the full Sierra datafeed. However, I'm unable to download any more 1 minute data than 2013-11-03 to 2014-02-26 for NQH4. I've set the chart to download much higher numbers of days of 1 minute data, but this is the maximum I seem to be able to receive. I have done a full reset of the symbol settings. The options for SC feeds in the list are: SC Historical Data SC Forex Data SC Market Stats SC Exchange data I'm set for OEC with Allow Support for Sierra Feeds checked. Thanks. |

We have checked and there is only data back to 2013-11-03 for NQH4. We could add more data, but for what do you need it for? Most likely you are interested in a Continuous Futures Contract instead: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I want to study market activity from the swing low of 11/20/2008 on a 1 minute basis. Additionally I'd like to study Delta and other phenomena requiring tick data from the last 18 months or more. |

Right, but these do not need data during inactive times for individual futures contracts. Therefore, follow the instructions here to create a longer-term Continuous Futures Contract chart: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. You are correct. I believe the Continuous Futures Contract setting is going to do what I need. Thanks for your help with this. |
