This settings are not lost. Updating does not cause lost settings.

There could have been a particular scenario that you had done to create a condition like this. This would involve installing a newer version and going back to an earlier version and then back to the newer version. But it depends upon the version numbers.

Exit from Sierra Chart and delete the Sierra4.config file in the Sierra Chart installation folder (C:\SierraChart) and then restart. See if that resolves it.

If not, then we will have you go to a backup file. Instructions:

Yes that exactly what I did. I upgraded to new version - went back to old version - back to new version.

Deleted that file and its working now.
