I have never been able to get Sierra to auto-center in a good way. The problem is very simple: The feature "Re-Center When The Last Bar Exceeds A Certain Number Of Ticks From The Center" works fine and as expected, but that is the problem. It re-centers the *bar*. If you're trading a market where your bar is taller than the screen, and price ticks up or down off screen, then your bar will stay centered around the bar which means I can't see the current price. What would be really helpful, is a feature called "Re-Center On Current Price When Last Price Exceeds A Certain Number Of Ticks From The Center". This would center the chart vertically on price, and when price ticked X number of ticks away from that level, it would re-center around that price level. Basiclally just like the "Re-Center To Last Price On Every Update" feature, only with a # of Ticks delay. I am always having to manually center my charts since I leave them on Manual Mode as none of the other modes are actually usable IMO. |
