I am a grandfathered user of SC in step2 of TST combine...They have made changes recently to "protect" users from oversizing their positions...instead of DQ your combine for going over size limit now their system automatically rejects any order that would cause position to be over max size...this has caused several issues: prior to this change I could scale in or out with ease...If I had max size on and I wanted to scale out at market or on limit order using the ladder it would exit cleanly and bracket orders would reduce by the size scaled out.... now if at max size I cannot exit without the order being originated from my target or stop....ie i cannot reduce my position short of target with a market order or hitting the bid, etc... I thought a work around would be to uncheck the scale in scale out radio buttons on orders for that particular .twconfig. that worked temporarily because now I could split my bracket orders and just move a single order for scaling out... however, now if at max position and I decide to exit by hitting the flat button, what occurs is that all of my bracket orders disappear and the position remains...so I am left with a naked position... TST says there is no workaround on their end...I want to know if there is a setting I am missing or some other way to restore functionality of scaling out with these new TST limitations... Thank you. |
