Hello there, I'd like to swing trade emini futures on my delayed account but I'm wondering how I could stay in a trade for many days since my P/L go back to zero at the end of each day? Is it possible keep the P/L rolling and not get out of a trade? Regards, A |

The profit/loss is not going to cause the trade to be exited. Unless you are using the Global Profit/Loss Management which is optional. Hello there, I'm in the process of opening an account with AMP Future. I'm currently using Service Package 3 which has a 10 minute delay; what will I need to do in order to day trade the YM E-Mini Dow in realtime? Also, is it possible to get access to the stock market in realtime with Sierra? Regards, Alexandre |

You need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages to be able to get real-time data for the CME Group. Refer to the information here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages Follow these instructions to change your package: To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.
Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. And then follow these instructions to setup the CME Group data: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* -- We have U.S. Stock Market data. Follow the instructions at the following link to setup real-time data for the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges* For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-07-16 19:40:42

The options you are being given by AMP are for the order routing. You can use CQG or Teton. Be sure to let AMP know your decision. If you are only trading the CME Group, then we recommend the Teton Order Routing Service, as this is our own software and hence works best with Sierra Chart. Refer to the information here (note the Setup Instructions on the page): Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing If you decide you want to use CQG, then follow the instructions at the following link: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions -- In either case for the order routing, if you want real-time data for the CME Group, then that has to come from our Denali Exchange Data Feed, as we do not have support for the data for the CME Group and EUREX from CQG. To get the real-time data, follow these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello there, Is there a way to change the quantity of contracts of my stoploss along way? For instance, what If I'm trading 3 contracts of the YM and my first two targets are hit but I'm still holding one contract; do I need to change the quantity of my stoploss to one contract manually instead of 3 contracts? If so, how can I do so? Regards, A |

If the Stop was entered as an attached order along with the Targets, then when a target it hit, the Stop will automatically remove that quantity. So, from your example, when the first two targets are hit, the Stop will automatically adjust to having a quantity of 1. But, if the Stop is entered separate from the other others, then there is no connection between the Stop and the Targets, so as targets are hit, the Stop would NOT adjust. You would have to do this manually in this case. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you very much for the quick reply. In the Data/Trade Service settings page (Clearing Firm (List)), I guess I have to select AMP If I'm using this Broker but do I need to select Yes or No in (Use Backup Connectivity as Primary)? Regards, A |

Hello there, I'm trying to set a profit target to 11 ticks on my first 2 contracts on the YM. Everything looks fine but I'm also setting a stoploss to 25 ticks (3 contracts) and it only shows - Stop All 25T Stop L: 125.00. Looks like the stoploss is only set for 1 contract instead of 3 contracts; what do I need to do in order to set 3 contracts on my first stoploss? Also, is there a way to automatically move my last stoploss contract to Breakeven as soon as my first 2 profit targets contracts are hit? Regards, A |

Your Stop is set for all the contracts that are entered. The fact that it is showing "Stop All" reflects this. Otherwise, it would only be associated with a single target, and then you would need multiple Stops. Another way to know this is correct is by the color of the Target/Stops Matching line just under the selection for the Trade Configuration at the top of the Trade Window. If this is green, then the quantities for the Stops and Targets match, otherwise, it will be red. Refer to the following: Attached Orders: Order Quantity Matching For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

We do not know what the problem is, but since your "Trade Service Log" is opening, there is a message in there telling you why the trade will not go through. We need to see that message so we can tell you what is occurring. After you try to place a trade and it does not work, get us the information from your Trade Service Log by following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello there, I finally found the problem. Thanks for the reply. Also, could you please tell me how to change the candlestick and wick thickness on a chart? Regards, A |

The wick thickness is controlled in the Width setting for the "Bar High-Low Down" and "Bar High-Low Up" graphics settings. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Bar High-Low Down We are not sure what you are looking for in terms of the "Candlestick Width" as this could be a few different items. To change the candlestick border thickness, refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Candlestick Up Outline To change the size of the candlestick itself, refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Candlestick Width % (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
