Hello, I just udated to the subject version (2226) and I had a number bar chart that just disapeared from my chartbook. Is this normal and how can I retreive it? Best regards |

No that is not normal. Open a new chart and add the Numbers Bars study and let us know if you still see an issue.

I've reverted back to version 2207. Opened up the same chartbook and now my number bar chart is back the way it was... without doing anything else. I'm now affraid to update to version 2226. Best regards. |

When you say it disappeared, did you mean literally that the chart had disappeared and you could see it anywhere? When we opened your Chartbook, the chart was not present, but that was because it was tagged as Hidden. In order to bring the chart back, we just selected the CW pulldown and selected the chart. This is all you need to do after the upgrade. Refer to the information here for that menu: Window, CB and CW Menus But, we do have to ask, was the chart tagged as Hidden when you saved the Chartbook? I'm a little bit confused now... What I meant by disapear is that in bottom bar where we can usualy select a desired chart, well the number bar chart in question was just not there following the update to 2226 version, so I had revert back to 2207. How do we even hide a chart? I know that we can hide window chart (through the Window menu), but to hide a chart completly from the bottom bar, that, I wasn't aware that we can hide it over there as well. |

When you hide the chart, it is removed from the view in the graphics area as well as having the tab removed. There appears to be some issue when upgrading where the chart is being hidden. We will see if we can figure out what is causing that. But, the simple solution is just to go to the CW menu and select the chart when you are on the new version.
