Anytime I am in a current long or short, I would like to use the Trade Positions Window to manage my open trades. Trade show up in there and it shows me the Trade Account, Symbol, Qty, Price (High/Low/last during position) and the entry date. Now there are fields where it shows Average Price, Open Profit/loss, and Daily Profit/Loss. Those there fields are always showing zero no matter what. How can I have it show the profit/loss values when in a trade. That is the main reason I would like to see in the Trade Position Window since I trade more than one account. Can you help guide me on this?

You can view that information on the Trade Statistics for Charts tab: Trade Activity Log: Trade Statistics for Charts (Chart Stats) Tab However, you cannot Flatten Positions from there but we will look at adding that capability. I've wondered the same and tried using the Trade Positions window to monitor, however, what's the purpose of it when it doesn't display the correct information? I trade multiple accounts and get the following... SC/Denali/AMP/TT - Shows zero's all the time SC/IB - Shows accurate information If you are looking at adding Flatten Positions to the Charts Tab (+1 for this) could you add a toggle for charts to display here? Example if Show Trade Positions is enabled on 4 charts, Charts Tab then shows positions 4 times and it would be nice just to see 1. |

what's the purpose of it when it doesn't display the correct information? It does show the correct information.Obviously the purpose is to show the position quantity which is the most important field of information. The average price field has not been supported on the TT based order routing because of a particular reason but thinking about this some more that reason is something that rarely occurs if at all. So we will start supporting the Position Average Price field for this service. We will try to get it out on one server this evening. See attached... I'm sure you know what is displayed and what isn't but here are two setups just in case. Top is a display from AMP/Denali/SC Routing and TT Bottom is Interactive Brokers It seems like the challenge lies with all the different feeds/exchanges reporting different or no data back and that leaves SC pretty stuck. I mention the 'virtual fields for everything' sure seems it would solve these problems and the many posts surrounding them. Adding to that functionality what about creating a Margin Requirement field under Symbol settings that a user can populate? I keep a spreadsheet of every symbol I trade with the margin requirements that I update based on broker (since each broker has different values for same symbol). That gets populated here and help SC users manage their positions with margin requirements. Day Margin, Overnight Margin by symbol. Thanks for everything you all do... |

The Position Average Price for the TT based order routing service is now released on Server 5. This will also then show the Open Profit/Loss as well. You can test on that server.
