What is this feature exactly, and, do I need to have it checked for this scenario: Symbol is set to ES Trade and Current Quote Symbol is set to Micro ES .... I'm running an algo based on the Micro ES and would like it to trade ES and other symbols I apply it to. Thanks |

It sounds like you have your Symbol and Trade and Current Quote Symbol set backwards. If you want to have a Micro ES chart and place a trade for the ES based on the Micro ES, then you need to have your Symbol set to MES (Micro ES) and the Trade and Current Quote Symbol set to ES. In general the DOM data is not available within the software - you would need to use ACSIL in order to get the data. But, there are a few Pulling/Stacking data available in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values 2 study. This is the actual price value divided by the tick size for the symbol.

Hello John Just reading this form. I'm trying see ES data but want to place a trade for MES. I have the following settings on my ES DOM: Symbol is set to ES Trade and Current Quote Symbol is set to Micro ES Use as Trade only Symbol - Marked as Checked However when I place a trade, it shows the same P/L as per the ES. Is it trading the MES but just showing a different P/L? or am I doing something wrong. Cheers |

Since you are using a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol", you then need to adjust the Currency Value per Tick to reflect that of the symbol in the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" field.
