MISSING STUDIES FOR ANALYSIS

HI,

When i open the chart studies, it seems that there a range/list of missing studies available to add into my chart ( Kindly refer to attachment )

Can you please help to enable back the normal list of studies for me to add to the chart.

Hi,

I have disabled ( refer to attached ), uninstalled 3rd party software and also performed the update according to recommended link but i still encountered the missing studies ( refer to attached ) issue.

We do not think uninstalling is going to do you any good at all and we highly do not recommend it. But if you want to do that, here are the instructions:

Hi,

I tried to run the installer but there are error message after i perform the task. i will be sending the log message for the error encountered. For your advise in trouble shooting.

However if this problem is with your security software we cannot take the time to resolve problems with other programs on user systems. Just simply remove the security software from your system altogether permanently.

Whatever the problem is, it is going to be an issue on your side to resolve.

Just an update that i have already uninstalled 3rd Party anti virus software from my system and also disabled the windows security protection ( refer to attached 2 photos ).

This is what we see:
Failed to create folder: C:\Users\D\Desktop\SIERRA CHART\DownloadedInstallationFiles\ACS_Source\. Windows error code 183: Cannot create a file when that file already exists. | 2021-01-27 12:43:53

There is some problem accessing that particular folder. We really recommend you install Sierra Chart into C:\SierraChart.

If you already have Sierra Chart installed at C:\Users\D\Desktop\SIERRA CHART, you can move the files to the new location by following the information here:

Hi,

I am really sorry.

With reference to Step 5, my data file folder ( original source, refer attached 2 photos ) doesn't have the following files:

1) Sierra3.cfg
2) Accounts.cfg
3) KeyboardShortcuts.config
4) TradeActivityLogs
5) TradePositions.data
6) AccountBalance.data
7) TradeOrderList.data
8) GlobalSymbolsSettings
9) DefaultStudySettings

Do i just copy the files with reference to Step 4.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your assistance.

I can see the normal list of studies now. However, when i add the studies for Ask Bid Volume Difference Bars, nothing is shown on the chart ( Refer to attached photo ).

Do you need to configure anything for this studies to work?

Ask and Bid information is not available on Historical charts, which is what you have when you are looking at Daily charts.

If you do want to see the Ask and Bid Difference Bars on a Daily chart, then you need to set the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data Type to Intraday Chart Only. Refer to the information here:
Chart Settings: Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Date Range and Limiting Method menu)

By the way, is the data feed for HK33 ( CFD by FXCM ) real time or delayed?

If is delayed, how can i get real time data feed?

Real-Time CFD and FOREX data is included with the Sierra Chart software. If you are opening the HKG33 symbol under the CFD - FXCM heading on the Find Symbol window then it is the real-time data. Refer to the information at the following link:
