Good morning,

I am having difficulties downloading the historical data from CQG. Hoping to get some feedback.

My broker has enabled CQG Historical data on my account. We have followed the steps provided in this link: Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

However, I cannot get intraday data (30 minute bars) before 12-13-2020. Is this normal?

Daily bars work fine.

This may be why you are having issues. Things changed as of Jan 1 for historical data from "other" data suppliers.

It is necessary to update to version to 2204 or higher, sometime before this date to be able to use CQG historical data. There have been important changes and improvements to properly support the CQG data. Instructions:

Your Sierra Chart account which you have logged into this Support Board with is expired. So we know what Sierra Chart account you are using, go to Help >> Support Board from within the Sierra Chart desktop program and then post in this thread telling us this is done.

We also recommend you use the Denali Exchange Data Feed rather than CQG historical data. And we do not provide support for CQG historical data. Refer to:
