Is there a way to automatically plot the previous day's IB high and low? I've searched through prior posts and tried various studies but haven't been able to figure it out. Thank you!

Yes you can do this with the Initial Balance study because it will calculate for each day in the chart:

Thanks

In general, the Subgraphs that are part of the study hold the data such that each bar has a specific value. That value is what you see drawn on the chart.

Therefore, if you are wanting the value from a particular place in the chart, then it is a matter of getting the data from that subgraph at that location.

That being said, if you tell us exactly what you want to accomplish, then we can either tell you how to do it, or at least point you in the right direction.

Thanks for getting back to me.

What I am trying to achieve is to extract previous day ibh and ibl values into bookmap as notes through a custom study.

Thanks

If you create a custom study, then you can get the specific values you want out of the system. Refer to the information starting at the following link:
Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction

There is the ability to get the data automatically exported using the following study:
Write Bar and Study Data To File

You could then get the information out of that file.

It would be possible with the Spreadsheet Study study, using a modification of this example:
Spreadsheet Example Formulas and Usage: Return Last Two Zig Zag Reversal Values

The example can be used to return any previous values, not just those of the Zigzag study.
