Hello, I'd like to be able to lock the time period of an indicator while switching time periods of the chart. For example, I want the RSI to be based off a 4 hour chart, while the chart itself might be in daily, 8 hr, etc. Is this currently possible, and if not could it be implemented? Thanks very much, Steven |

Thank you- this will definitely work, but if you would consider adding a more direct feature to simply refer to a different time period for a study vs the main chart's time period (without having to create another chart), I think a lot of users would find it more convenient. Either way, I can use this method as needed for now, so thank you again.

There is no chance of that. A separate chart is absolutely required.

Can it become possible to reference charts in other chartbooks in the study/price overlay? Also, is it possible to lock the bar period in a chart? I'm using a chart created for the sole purpose of using its daily timeframe in another chart (in this regard, what the user suggested above makes total sense to implement). I need to lock its interval, as if it is accidentally changed, the other chart that is using it will display wrong data. |

Neither of these are supported or planned.
