Hello, I am currently using SC Level 5 supplied through AMP futures with CGQ as well as Stock data through SC. I would like to purchase an annual license and Denali feed and nonprofessional futures data. I plan to discontinue Amp services on the 31st. Will I be able to make this switch over the New Years day or Holiday weekend? Will I be able to connect to both AMP futures and Interactive Brokers with a purchased license? How do I configure AMP/IB to use the SC routing service or is it seamless? Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance Stacy |

1. You can always access the Sierra Chart functionality for your account, so from our end, there is no issue getting things setup over the weekend. There is just one area that may wait until next Monday in terms of getting your account setup for the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. 2. Yes, you can connect to both AMP and Interactive Brokers as long as you are using a Direct account (purchased through us, not through a broker like AMP). The recommendation is to have 2 separate installations of Sierra Chart, one for trading futures with AMP and the other for trading stocks with Interactive Brokers. Refer to the information here: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time 3. Once you have your account setup with us, then let AMP know that you will be using this direct account and that you want to use the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service with this account. Then follow the Setup Instructions found here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#SetupInstructions Also, when you have your Interactive Brokers setup and the Sierra Chart installation done for IB then follow the Setup Instructions for that installation here: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Rather than start a new thread I'll post my questions here since it's similar enough and may help OP and others... I too had SC 5 w/AMP & CQG (also accounts at Interactive Brokers). Switched over to a direct account at Sierra, package 5, Denali feed and SC Order routing. The switch happened in less than 24 hrs and was pretty easy so thanks to SC & AMP! BTW for AMP users doing this update your live trading platform setup request form to Which Datafeed? --> DISABLE all exchange data. You will need to setup a *new* account at SC since the other one is associated with AMP as a 3rd party affiliate and won't allow you to use IB. Everything else happens on SC site/account page (funding, data feed, exchange, linking to AMP acct etc). I've seen the messages & threads about CQG, IB data feed & trade routing support issues so I'm entirely on SC platform, data feed and order routing. My questions and preferred setup are: *Use Denali Feed for ALL futures data (AMP & IB) *Use SC Order Routing for AMP & IB accounts for futures trades **************** ***Questions**** **************** 1 - Can one installation/instance of SC be used to trade AMP & IB accts (with Denali Feed & SC Order routing)? 2 - During connection to IB "we recommend using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service instead of Interactive Brokers". Which I thought was setup... Under File --> Data/Trade Service --> Settings I have SC Futures and Routing/Data setup and Interactive Brokers setup (check box on both for allow Sierra Chart Data Feeds). The Trade Log for AMP shows SC Routing, Trade Log for IB says 'IB Order Fill' so it looks like SC Order routing isn't setup correctly for IB, hence the message? 3 - From the SC website --> Account Control Panel --> Trading Accounts I see AMP listed and everything is fine (but not IB). Does anything need to be done here to add IB accts & routing? 4 - Do the settings under Data/Trade Service Settings apply only when it's active and connected or is it a global setting? Meaning if I have SC Future Order Routing/Data selected how do I connect to my IB account(s) or if I have my IB account selected how does the SC order routing occur? Thanks! Neo, It s my BELIFE I'm waiting to find out for sure. This is what I did this morning US EST. According to this post https://support.ampglobal.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042515233-Sierra-Chart-Denali-Data-Feed-Trading-Technologies-TT-Trade-Routing-Pricing-Setup-Guide and following this link https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SCOrderRoutingServiceTradingAccountAssignmentRequestForm from it. Now it is a matter of someone from SC adjusting the account manually. Hope this helps |

Did you do this with AMP or IB? This is the process I followed for AMP and it works great (see my post #4) so far can't get SC routing with IB to work

Don't know just focusing on Amp at the moment. I think a second instance is the preferred way to setup an additional broker.

For post #4: 1. No you need two separate installations for this. Refer to: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time 2. In your case just disregard that message. If you will be using and want to use Interactive Brokers it is not applicable. 3. No. Interactive brokers is completely separate. 4. This is a global setting. You need to have two installations of Sierra Chart as explained for item 1 above. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
