[Programming Help] - Why are the downloadable DTC files different from what is in the installation directory?

Hi, I'm building a python tool to interact with SC using the DTC protocol. However, I just noticed that SC is linking to a different set of DTC files than what come with the SC client in the ../DTC/ directory. # From SC DTC directory 291K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocol.cpp 119K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocol.h 45K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocol.proto 56K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocol_NonStandard.cpp 56K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocol_NonStandard.h 99K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocolVLS.cpp 91K Dec 22 12:10 DTCProtocolVLS.h # Downloaded DTC files from [1] 267K Dec 24 03:48 DTCProtocol.cpp 109K Dec 24 03:48 DTCProtocol.h 41K Dec 24 03:48 DTCProtocol.proto 92K Dec 24 03:48 DTCProtocolVLS.cpp 84K Dec 24 03:48 DTCProtocolVLS.h [1] https://dtcprotocol.org/DTC_Files/ 1. I'm confused, where can I find help? That is interesting. I am reading it on the Sierra Chart board. It appears this message thread appears in both forums. Perhaps when you put [Programming Help] and DTC in the subject line, it got routed to both? The lists of messages are definitely not identical. |
