Hi Support, I seem to have an Alert issue I can't resolve. I want the Alert to go off only once per bar when the condition is true. I have set it at first to: Alert only once per Bar and when condition comes true, Alert goes off, but then keeps going off every few minutes as the bar fluctuates up and down(it is a 2 hour bar). So then I changed the Alert to sound :Evaluate on Bar Close, same problem occurs, Alert goes off when condition is True, and then keeps repeating every few minutes as the bar fluctuates. In Global Settings>General Settings> Alerts/General3, I have this Alert set to Number of Times to Play Alert as 1. Can you suggest what it is I am doing wrong, I want the Alert to sound ONLY Once per bar and no more. Thank you! |

Enabling the option for Alert Only Once Per Bar should take care of the issue. Refer to the information here: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Alert Only Once Per Bar Therefore, maybe you have the alert on more than one chart, or in more than one place. When the alert goes off when you do not expect it to, check your Alert Log to find the source of the alert and then remove it if it is not the one you want.
