Dear SC engineering, would it please be possible to either: (a) add a feature to the large volume trade indicator that gives an additional subgraph identifying whether a large trade is bid or ask dominated. or (b) enable access to the ASCIL source code for the indicator so that I may be able to do this myself. I would very much like to be able to use the outputs of this indicator in other ACSIL studies but to be able to do that requires access to the bid/ask identifier. I would be willing to pay for this feature if necessary. Thank you for your consideration. |

What we are going to do is give ACSIL access to the same data that the Large Volume Trade Indicator uses.

It has been released in the latest Prerelease 2210. This is the new ACSIL member: c_VolumeLevelAtPriceContainer* p_VolumeLevelAtPriceForBars = NULL; It is accessed with sc.p_VolumeLevelAtPriceForBars. It works similar to: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.VolumeAtPriceForBars Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes, agree, documentation with a code example. I do realize it is similar to VolumeAtPriceForBars but there are always unforeseen complexities that an example reveals.
