Hi, I saw the topic of "Second instance not loading chartbooks at startup", now locked. Maybe if I explain what happens to me ( just updated version (2208) 5 minutes ago, just to be sure ): If I launch the second instance by the "file menu" -> "new instance", or "global settings", SC works fine and how it should. But If I launch through SierraChart_64.exe of the second instance directly, It happens what that topic was saying. Actually, not really exactly what that topic was saying. What happens is that it doesn't auto connect the feed. Connecting the data feed manually in the instance, makes the chartbooks autoload. Btw, I noted that recently behaviour changed when launching instances: when launched through "SierraChart Main", the "save password" at login gets "unticked". ( I noted this because I launch my second instance directly through scripts, which need the password saved, but launch the second instance through "SierraChart Main" a first time when updating ). Hope that this might explain ( maybe the poster of that topic is launching the instance directly ). Also I am not complaining or requesting, I since then moved to launch the instance from "SierraChart Main". Thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-12-13 02:43:45

Yes, this is my account, which I in previous years funded before switching to AMP. Is it important ? Can I post privately ? |
