my 2nd instance of sc is not automatically connecting to server. in the past, it used to connect automatically. after a recent update, it stopped connecting. can you please advise me on how to remedy this problem.

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Select File >> Connect to Data Feed.

After about 30 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
