Discrepancy between stop offset parameter and resulting stop in chart trade

Hi, When using the DAX-202012-DTB-EUR-25 [M] future chart, the chosen stop loss offset in the trading window is always diminished by half. So, when using a simple bracket, the standard stop offset of 8 results in an offset of 4. I've added a picture of both the parameters (in this case a triggered step trail stop) with a chosen stop offset of 60, as well as the resulting orders in the chart: here you can see that the resulting offset is actually 30 points. How can I fix this discrepancy? Many thanks in advance! Mr. B. The |

You are entering your offset in Ticks as specified by the Offset Value. Since the DAX has a tick size of 0.5, this results in a offset in points that is half the number of ticks. Refer to the information here for that setting: Attached Orders: Offset Values For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
