I am using it to display the range of the first 5 minutes at the open of the session. We have been in a downtrend for quite a while. For some reason, the OR band refuses to move off the top of the chart, compressing price activity to a narrow area at the bottom. For nearly an hour, it seemed that nothing was happening. The "trading range" proved to be more than 40 points high. (Glad I was distracted from trading at the time!) At the moment, the OR band occupies 30 points at the top of the chart, and there is a gap of 40 points below the bottom of the range and the highest price bar on the screen. When I remove this study from the chart, the display returns to normal. Guessing a setting is wrong, but I can't find one that changes anything. What gives? Thanks. |
