I have a ZB 10 minute DOM with the study that is displayed in the attached image. It plots the line on the DOM as shown in the other image. However, my other DOMs with this study do not plot the line. How can I make it visible on the other DOMs? as far as I know the settings are the same, for example the subgraphs are visible. |

The DOM I included in the original chartbooks reference another 10min chart in the *same* chartbook. Simply, the 10min chart's candles are overlaid on the Trade DOM in the original chartbook. The reference is made based on the chart number of the 10min (source) chart in the same chartbook. If you are copying/duplicating this DOM to another chartbook or want to setup a new one, you should make sure that the overlaid study references to the correct source chart or in case if you duplicate the DOM(s) to new chartbooks, you should duplicate the source chart as well and make sure the overlaid DOM study uses the proper Chart numbers in the new chartbook. When using and adjusting the chartbooks I post on my site, please always refer to the linked instructional post (link is available at the bottom of every posts on my site) with the details on how/what to adjust. Forget to mention, that standalone trading DOMs have a periodicity as well (DOM -> Chart -> Chart Settings -> Intraday Chart Bar Period), similar to charts. When overlaying something (bars) on the DOM, it is important to have the source chart and the DOM's chart period in sync. For example: when 10min bars are overlaid, the DOM's chart period should be set to 10min as well. |

ticino, can you explain the reasoning for that? I have it based on 30 second charts and the dom has overlaid 10 min bars. I would like to not create more charts just for the overlays (that would be 3 or 4 more charts per workbook)... it seems to be working fine this way, do you think it is really necessary to feed data from 10m charts instead of my 30s charts?
