I am currently using TD AmeriTrade to SIM trade but when I go live I am thinking of going to Sierra Charts. There are zero costs at TD AmeriTrade so I am trying to figure out what all costs are involved to trade the SP emini. I know the platform may cost unless I go with AMP I can get Sierra free but what other costs like data and such do I need?

Thanks

There are zero costs at TD AmeriTrade
They must be charging exchange fees and a commission when trading listed futures. That is unavoidable.

The recommended solution is the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

The costs would be as follows:
-The cost of a Sierra Chart Service Package
-The cost of the Denali data feed (20 USD/month)
-The cost of the exchange fee for market data
-The order routing cost of .10USD per contract per side.

Yes, Commissions are 2.95 per trade I think so yes, they are getting the fees.

Can I do all of this through Sierra Charts or do I have to get it from somewhere else?

Does Sierra Charts have a favored broker or a list of brokers or can I use any broker?

I'm all new to this so thanks for your patience.

Thanks

If you want to use the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, then you will need to find a broker that supports TT. There is a partial list of brokers at Step #2 of the Setup Instructions here:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
