My bars often stop updating if I switch to a different window and then go back to sierra charts even though I keep the program open. All the other numbers I can see moving up and down (tick count, bid/ask, etc). I am using a macbook and I run sierra charts in parallels. I believe the problem started within 24 hours of switching to the sierra chart data. I don't know if that's coincidental or not. I have updated the program a couple times and the problem still exists. I don't receive any kind of message about why the bars aren't updating (at least, not at the time it is happening), and there is no other indication that the bars aren't updating other than that I'll realize it's been a long time since a new bar has appeared. Everything else will look normal. Any idea what's going on? Is parallels the issue? I keep hoping it will resolve, but it seems to have gotten worse. The only fix is to disconnect from data and reconnect or close the program and reopen. When I do either of these things all the missing bars show up and the bars update normally again until it does it again. Thanks!

This could be some operating system level issue.

We want you to disable use of OpenGL:
Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other)

And then refer to all the possible reasons in help topic 3:
Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart

We definitely do not believe this is an issue with the Denali Exchange Data Feed. That just simply is not technically possible.
